El ex-vocalista de R.E.M. , Michael Stipe cantó “The Man Who Sold the World” de David Bowie en el programa de Jimmy Fallon.

El cantante de REM, Michael Stipe en entrevista para “Interview Magazine” confeso que intento salvarle la vida a Kurt Cobain, cantante de Nirvana.

“Construí un proyecto para intentar rescatar a Kurt de su estado mental. Le mande un boleto de avión y un chófer, el clavo el boleto en la pared de su habitación y el chófer espero afuera de la casa por 10 horas. Kurt nunca salio y nunca contesto el teléfono”.

“I constructed a project to try to snap Kurt out of a frame of mind. I sent him a plane ticket and a driver, and he tacked the plane ticket to the wall in the bedroom and the driver sat outside the house for 10 hours. Kurt wouldn’t come out and wouldn’t answer the phone.”
