David Gilmour ex guitarrista de Pink Floyd ha anunciado que lanzara un disco y DVD en vivo de su concierto del 2006 en Gdansk, Polonia.

“David Gilmour Live In Gdansk” saldra el 16 de Septiembre via Columbia Records. Este es el primer album en vivo como solista y contiene por primera vez grabaciones de selectas canciones de Pink FLoyd tocadas con una orquesta.

El 26 de Agosto fue el 26 aniversario de la fundación de la Trade Union Solidarity en Polonia.

“Esta es la primera vez que tocaba en Polonia y fue muy emocionante estar ahi ayudando a marcar uno de los mas importantes aniversarios de la historia reciente de Europa” dijo Gilmour en una declaracion.

“Fue particularmente emocionante tener a mi amigo Zbigniew Preisner ahi conduciondo la Baltic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra y tener la posibilidad de interpretar mi album por primera vez como fue concebido”.
