El segundo concierto de U2 en el Estadio Azteca de la Ciudad de México tuvo un nuevo setlist y varias menciones a México.

La banda fue presentada como futbolistas mexicanos, Adam Clayton fue presentado como Rafa Marquez, el que nunca cambia, que siempre parece de 24 años, el chicharito de la banda Larry Mullen, y The Edge fue presentado como Hugo Sanchez.

Después recordó a su amigo Frank Sinatra: “Where’s Frank?” pregunto Bono durante “Until The End of the World”. “Thirteen years ago we said goodbye to Frank Sinatra…”

La cancion Desire fue incluida, su primera vez en lo que va del 2011, seguida de “Stay” no tocada desde septiembre del 2009.

“Amazing” dijo Bono tomando un respiro. “Incredible people, incredible country…”

Llego “With or Without You” y un momento para recordar “all those who have lost their loved ones”

“You are not defined by this, you are defined by your humility, your generosity of spirit, your love of life. Thank you for letting us into your life….”

Despues vino una cancion dedicada a México

“I wanna sing a song for Mexico. It’s a message to the world from Mexico. And especially it’s a message across the border to the United States of America.”

La banda inicio “Stand by Me” pero con Bono cambiando la letra:
“We don’t need your love, We want your respect across the border… Stand by Me…Whenever you’re in trouble won’t you stand by me…”

Al finalizar agrego: “Let’s close 9,000 gun stores, the other side of the border. Close them down.”
